SafeBeing is a passive and remote monitoring platform developed by Somatix, designed to oversee ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) such as activity level, mobility, drinking, falls, and medication intake. This allows for prompt intervention and detection of deviations from the user's regular routine.
The mobile application offers comprehensive daily and collective data on the user's activities and enables connection to the Somatix smartband or other compatible smartwatches via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for monitoring purposes.
The registration process is uncomplicated and secure, allowing users to sign up on the app post-enrollment into the SafeBeing system by the relevant monitoring entity. Customizable alerts and notifications can be tailored, including options to activate, silence alerts, and share location data.
Activity updates and alerts can be selectively shared with caregivers or family members via the SafeBeing Caretaker mobile application. This includes notifications regarding falls or if the user wanders outside predefined safe areas.
